Taking the time to know and understand what your buyers are looking for can lead to wonderful off market sales like this one.

We had a beautiful past client wanting to downsize, somewhere close to all the amenities and transport, as our buyer didn’t drive and didn’t want to be a burden on the kids.

Absolutely unwilling to consider moving into a villa or a townhouse, the property had to be just right, not too big or too small, but it also still had to have enough room for visiting kids and grandkids too.

Before we walked in the door, we knew the location of this home would be perfect, opposite Swansea Library, so close to the bus-stop, Coles and everything you need day to day, with cafes, Swansea RSL and a favourite gift and clothing shop Daisy Grace, all easy level walking distance from home.

When we stepped inside the automatic gates and saw how transformed the exterior of the cottage was we got excited and when we saw the fresh interior, with its completely done up modern kitchen, fresh paintwork, flooring, fans, air conditioning and lighting, it all just seemed to be lining up as the “just right” property our buyer was looking for.

We chased the contract on a Sunday, got the buyer through on Sunday afternoon, negotiated and had offer and acceptance by late that afternoon and exchanged contracts that night and the property was all sold by 5pm the following Friday.

It was the perfect “stress free” result for our lovely sellers and our equally lovely buyer and it was a good price for both.
